A 12-week program covering Scratch, C, Arrays, Algorithms, Memory, Data Structures, Python, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Flask, Emoji, Cyber Security.
Projects were submitted at the end of every main course. The final projects was Bookopedia, a web applicaiton for avid readers to add books to their reading list and bookmark pages.

UMass Summer Program - Foundations of Data Science
A program providing project-based learning in the emerging field of data science. It covers case studies in public health, racial bias in jury selection, and text analysis of literature.
I will be able to apply my skills in python programming, handling and visualizing large data sets. I will work with a diverse team from around the world to address complex problems in society with data. Example projects include: COVID-19 prediction modeling, COVID-19 testing, financial crisis of 2008.

Python
With Artificial Intelligence (AI) introduction at School in 9th Grade, I wanted to enhance my Python skills, so I signed up with a local programming institute Besant Technologies for in-person classes.
I learnt how to install, configure and use various Python libraries, and got to write several programs. These Python classes helped me explore coding some interesting AI problems, going beyond just theoretical learning.
I have used Google Colab extensively also for my programs.
HTML, CSS, Javascript
I always tried some HTML programming during my earlier years, it was time to get some deeper knowledge. So, I signed up with the same local intitute Besant Technologies from whom I learnt Python, for HTML, CSS and Javascript programming.
I learnt several HTML tags, form development, styling with which I developed some web pages. I work on my main dakshkasi.com pages and this site dakshkasi.info with this knowledge.
ReactJS
With Python skills for server-side development, I was looking for better front-end development after learning HTML, I was recommended ReactJS.
With 10th Grade being serious board exams, I had to balance so I signed up with Udemy as I could learn at my pace. I was able to go at my pace and complete learning React.
This has provided me a good foundation for me to take up some good app development.
School Hackathon - Robotic Car
My school offered Atal Tinkering Lab from the 7th Grade. The lab involved building several small science projects using DIY kits.
On Mahatma Gandhi's 150th Birthday, I built a solar powered street light using parts from my toys as part of the club. I made a short video of the project and submitted it for the PRime Minister Modi's science / clean energy innovative competition.
Along with some classmates in 8th Grade we built a robotic car with ultrasound, light and several IOT sensors.
